Rice with Coconut Milk

Rice with Coconut Milk

ingredients:

rice:

2 cups raw rice washed
4 cups of hot or cold water
1 tablespoon oil
1 large onion, grated
1 teaspoon salt

Other Ingredients:

250 ml of coconut milk
50 or 100 grs. freshly grated coconut (optional)


How to Prepare:

Wash the rice well under running water for several times.

In a medium saucepan add the rice with water, coconut milk, grated coconut, salt, onion and oil.

Lead to fire up cooking.
Extinguish the fire, cover the pan cover with a napkin, let stand for 15 to 20 minutes to be fine fluffy.

If you do not put the grated coconut, reduce a cup of water from cooking rice.

How to Serve:

You can serve the rice with shrimp, chicken, crab, lobster, fish and other birds ..
