Cake type sponge cake - With Fruits

ingredients:


2 ½ cup (tea) of wheat flour sifted
2 ½ cup (tea) of sugar
1 cup (tea) of potato starch
1 cup (tea) of orange juice
5 eggs - egg whites firm
1 spoon (soup) of baking powder


Takes no butter sponge cake dough type


fruits:

½ cup (tea) apricot
½ cup (tea) of dates without stone
½ cup (tea) of white seedless raisins
½ cup (tea) of dark raisins, seedless
½ cup (tea) of pitted prunes


To cook the fruit syrup:


1 cup (tea) of sweet red wine
1 cup (tea) of water
½ cup (tea) of sugar

How to Prepare the syrup:
Mix the wine with water and sugar, add all fruits, lead to fire until dry all the syrup.

How to prepare the cake:

Beat the egg yolks in mixer with sugar until light.

Add flour with potato starch and baking powder, mix manually with the whisk,

Then pour in the batter orange juice gradually and slowly.

Mix the fruits spoonfuls, go around the bowl, mixing well into the batter, lastly the egg whites.

The dough is blistered.

Pour the cake batter into the pan greased with butter, sprinkled with flour.

Bake in preheated oven 180 º C average, for 30 minutes to blush.

Note:

Can freeze in the freezer for 2 months

If you put icing on the cake smooth with spatula hot, that is, last in hot water.

  Icing:
Refined sugar or icing sugar with lemon juice until getting a thick porridge.
Pour the icing on the cake warm.
