Jelly Red Chilli

ingredients:

10 medium red bell peppers
1 medium onion, chopped

syrup:

l ½ tea cup of white vinegar
5 tea cups granulated sugar
l cup of water

How to Prepare:

Wash the peppers, dry in a napkin, take the seeds and white ribs, poking into six parts.

Peel the onions, wash well, chop into four pieces.

Blend the peppers with onion and a little water.
Strain through a fine sieve.
* For this recipe, discard the chilli broth.
Use the broth to give color to rice and soup.

Make a syrup with sugar, water and vinegar, when it boils, lower the heat to not spill. Leave the syrup over medium heat for 30 minutes.

Place the peppers in the strained syrup (which was in the sieve) without water that oozed.

Let the fire for 30 minutes or until the jelly becomes consistent.

Lasts one year in special glass retains and sterilized

Can save on glass enclosed in the refrigerator for 3 months

Place the pepper jelly over smoked turkey, or other aves.ou loin, tender etc..
