Christmas tree Venice


My Maternal Grandmother's recipe Italian.
In 1984 she made 300 years in the family

Christmas Tree Nuts

Ingredients for dough:

3 kg of (European) Portuguese chestnuts
3 tablespoons (soup) of chocolate powder does not serve chocolate milk
3 tablespoons (soup) of cocoa liquor or rum or kirsch (cherry brandy)
1 tbsp (tablespoon) of honey
1 spoon (soup) shallow ground cinnamon
1 tablespoon (coffee) ground cloves
1 tbsp (tablespoon) of vanilla essence
1 or 2 cups (tea) of sugar or sweetener

If the amount does not use sweetener by weight by volume is in place (use cup tablespoon)

300 grs.de nuts without shells

300 grs.de almonds without skins
300 grs.de cherries in syrup (drained)
100 grs.de white raisins, seedless
100 grs.de dark grapes raisins, seedless

1 cup (tea) of drained peaches in syrup, cut into little balls made with boleador

How to Prepare:

Cook the chestnuts in a common pot with a pinch of salt, but without the shells with thin skin that covers them for 20 'to 30' minutes
