Papaya Sweet Tia Jandira _ V - Options

Ingredients:
2 pounds of shredded papaya in the large drain or into thin strips
1 pound of crystal sugar or refined
2 cloves
1 cinnamon stick
Remove the spices after the sweet ready
Way of preparing:
I - Step:
Scrape the bark of papayas grate in thick or thin processor, or cut into thin strips 10 inches long by 1 wide.

Step II:
Wash the grated fruit or strips several times under the tap, to take the bitter which is the papaya milk.
Place the grated papaya in a large saucepan cover with two fingers up fruit, lead to heat until pre-cooked, that is until firm.
III - Step:
Once cooled, replace the water let stand for 24 hours if the temperature is too hot, store in the refrigerator.
Drain the water and re-wash under running water.
In a large saucepan, bring the papaya fire covered with water, enough to cover the fruit, add sugar cloves and cinnamon.
Leave the fire until well cook the fruit and get a thick syrup.
After the sweet ready remove the cloves and cinnamon.
II - Option:
To Make Sweet Papaya With Syrup Separate:
Syrup:
2 pounds of sugar
1 liter of water
2 carnations, 1 piece of 10 cm cinnamon
Prepare the syrup so:
In a large saucepan put the sugar water and spices, stir well off the heat, until sugar dissolves.
Lead to heat until a thick syrup. Book.
After you've done the above procedure II, drain well and the still warm fruit, pour the warm syrup.
Leave cooking over low heat for 20 'to 30' minutes or until candy is cooked and drained, dried syrup put a cup of (tea) of hot water and return to heat for 5 'minutes.
Keep in sterilized glass with screw cap and the syrup.
Suggestion:
If you want you can save the candy in the refrigerator and the next day take and cook for 15 'to 20' minutes in the morning and 15 'to 20' minutes in the late afternoon, so the sweet becomes denser (optional).
After cool to put in sterilized glass compote or screw cap.
III -Option
To Do Twinkies Papaya For June Festival:
Place the sweet ready without the syrup and add another 800 grams of sugar or necessary,
Lead to fire until the bottom of the pot, if you need to add a little of the syrup.
Once ready let it cool, make the ball go in the crystal sugar.
Place in the center of the sweetie one clove and then molds of colored paper. Place in a pan with crepe paper with ruffles around
Note:
IV - Option:
If you want to cut the papaya into squares, let it dry for 24 hours. Then do the same the first recipe procedure.
If you want you can make sweet crystallized.

 V - Option:
With the papaya strips, do the same procedure as sweet grated papaya.
The difference is that curls the cartoons and secure with a toothpick, then put in the syrup simmer normally see recipe above
When ready remove the toothpicks, place a sterile glass screw cap, with the syrup. Store in refrigerator.
