ingredients:

1 kilo of rice, washed without water
500 grs. beef jerky cut into strips soaked in eve
500 grs. Fresh pork sausage
250 grs. bacon or lard
2 large chopped -onions
3 cloves of garlic if no old crumpled kernels
1 pinch of paprika is a natural annatto or achiote seasoning, see below
1 spoon (soup) very shallow fine salt, if needed.
The other ingredients are very salty.

How to Prepare:

Cut the dried beef into thin bait, soak for 4 to 6 hours changing the water every three hours. Or soak the day before, changing the water two (2) times.
Bring to the boil in large saucepan the chopped bacon and sausage, add the beef jerky without water and seasonings and saute, add the rice (raw) makes the sauté for 2 'minutes.
Cover all (since rice with all ingredients) to about three (3) fingers over the rice to boiling water.
Mix well and taste the salt,
Leave on high heat for 3 'to 5' minutes.
No more mess, then lower the heat to cook slowly with the lid half open until almost completely dry.
After may place the covered pot inside the furnace or a paper roll for 1 hour before serving.
Note:
Put only a little bit of salt.
Once cooked it accentuates the salt.
CAUTION WITH SALT.

Annatto or achiote is full of seeds of a Brazilian plant hedgehog, which is extracted from paprika. (dye) is for those who have problems with blood flow.
Note:
If you have "electric rice cooker," do everything except water.
Put everything into the pot and add the hot water, leave it to finish the cooking process.
