Rice with Raisins and Almonds
ingredients:
2 cups (tea) of raw rice washed
4 cups (tea) of cold water
1 tbsp (tablespoons) chopped onion
2 spoons (soup) of oil
1 teaspoon (tsp) salt
Other Ingredients:
1 cup (tea) chopped almonds without skins
1 cup (tea) of dark seedless raisins
How to Remove the skin of Almonds:
Play quickly almonds in boiling water.
Take an almond and squeeze between your fingers to exit the
skin, can drain before chopping choosy.
How to Prepare the rice:
Wash the rice, place in a saucepan with the water
salt and the oil and onion.
Bring the pan to high heat for cooking, baking halfway lower the heat, when almost dry
then add the raisins almonds mix well.
Cover the pan and place in oven "off" by
about 15 'minutes.
Before serving make the mix as well.
Place on a platter and garnish all around with chopped lettuce and tomato on top.
If you want you can put 2 tablespoons (tablespoons) chopped parsley with stems.
