Farofa Shrimp - II Options


Option I :

Farofa Shrimp

1 large onion , grated
2 spoons (soup ) of corn oil
½ pound of cleaned shrimp ( save shells)
2 cups (tea ) of corn flour
1 cup ( tea) of chopped parsley with stems
½ cup finely chopped green olives
1 tbsp (tablespoons) chopped capers (optional )
Salt and Pepper to taste

How to Prepare the Farofa .

Fry the onion in oil , add the prawns simmer for 3 ' minutes then add the cornflour and a little broth from shrimp to give point , not too dry, not too moist .
Finally parsley and chopped olives and capers

Note :

* For a more fine crumbs (parties ) replace the cornflour with crushed crackers . *


If you want you can put the two ( 2 ) ingredients together , shrimp and banana.
To become more flavorful , add a little broth concentrate shrimp, ie cooking the shells with a little water . ( strain ) in a fine sieve .
Takes Shrimp 3 ' to 5 ' minutes to cook depending on the size . If cooking is too chewy

Aferventar the shells of shrimp , with 1 cup of water for 20 ' minutes . Strain through a fine sieve .

Option II :

Farofa Banana


ingredients:

1 large onion , grated
2 spoons (soup ) of corn oil
2 teacups maize flour
4 dwarf bananas sliced
1 cup ( tea) of chopped parsley with stems
Salt and pepper to taste

How to Prepare the Farofa .

Fry the onion in oil , add the bananas simmer , then add the cornmeal to give point
If it gets too dry add more oil or water .
Finally chopped parsley .
