Ambrosia Plain True
ingredients:

1 liter of milk
6 eggs
6 egg yolks
2-4 cinnamon sticks
10 cloves of India
6 slices fresh ginger (optional )
1 spoon (soup ) full of vinegar or lemon juice
syrup:
1 pound of refined white sugar
2 cups (tea ) of cold water

How to Prepare :
Use a thick bottom pan well , not to burn .
Make a syrup with sugar , water , cinnamon , and cloves and ginger
Thoroughly mix sugar with water , cinnamon , cloves and ginger, bring to high heat for 15 ' minutes, until a thick syrup
Do not stir while the fire that can sweeten .
Meanwhile , pass the eggs and the yolks through a sieve , add milk and vinegar .

When the gravy is thick , add the egg mixture , gradually and slowly until granular , about 15 ' minutes with strong fire .

Stir well in the bottom of the pan to prevent burning , over low heat for about an hour , adding Occasionally hot water gradually , so as not dry.
The look is grainy and sweet with syrup.
If you want ( darker ) golden syrup, leave a little more carefully in the fire .
You can save on glasses with screw cap . or cummerbund .
You can also save into sterilized glasses and do the same as stewed fruit .

Note :
The function of the vinegar is to granulate .
