Soup Cream of Onion

Soup Cream of Onion


ingredients:

1 ½ kilo of onion cut into four pieces
2 liters of water
2 tablets of broth, homemade beef broth
2 spoons (soup) of oil

Optional Ingredients:

2 spoons (soup) shallow-purpose flour
1 cup (tea) of cold milk


Other Ingredients ::

500 grs. grated parmesan cheese
1 deep dish of crotons (crouton) an inch
1 cup chopped parsley (optional)

How to Prepare:

Peel the onions, wash, chop into four pieces
Fry the onion in oil add the tablets of flesh, re-fry the onion until wilted.
Add the sautéed water or homemade beef broth, letting the heat until the onion is well cooked. Mix all in a blender.
* If you place the homemade beef broth, do not add the tablets of broth *
Is a thick cream, take the heat for 5'minutos, if you need to thicken with 2 tablespoons of flour dissolved in milk.
Serve soup in bowl of clay, with a sideboard (shallow dish underneath) and over the toasts and then grated Parmesan cheese.
If you want you can garnish with chopped parsley is optional, or

Hitting a cup of parsley tea in the blender, then strain it, mix with cream of onion.

Servant hot

Note:
 
The onion soup is served in winter. It is of French origin
In France the onion soup is not hit in a blender.
The crotons are crouton.
If the cubes of bread are not roasted, take the bowl of clay in the oven to toast.
Before serving sprinkle grated parmesan cheese on top

* If you place the homemade beef broth, do not add the tablets of broth *
