Simple Pumpkin sweet interior of São Paulo - Brazil + Photo



Ingredients:


1 kilo of ripe pumpkin, peeled and diced 2 cm
1 kilo of refined sugar
4 pieces of cinnamon stick
1 tablespoon (soup) of cloves
2 tablespoons (soup) ginger slices


Way of preparing:





Put in a pan the pumpkin pieces, sugar, cinnamon, cloves and ginger, do not move.

Cover the pan, cook until it boils, lower the heat and let cook with pumpkin water itself if pumpkin is dry add a glass of water.

Once cooked on one side turn each piece with a fork, being careful to cook the other side.
Once cooked, let it cool, go for a sweet compote glass or sterile screw cap,

II - Option:

Do not take candy from the pan. The next day light the fire again, do this operation 3 times, this process is to make the tastiest sweet.

If you want you can eat the candy so finished cooking, hot or cold.
Inside the sweet pumpkin is served in deep bowls topped with cold milk or a piece of fresh or semi-cured cheese
